Marc Cutinella, together with his two partners, Joey and Michael Cservak, have created a 6000 sq ft. masterpiece. I spoke with Marc in early July and he informed me that they will have a complete bow shop with all the accessories anyone could need along with full lines of several bows. PSE will be the main sponsor and has helped create a state-of-the-art-range. All the guys are certified bow technicians as well. The range will have a lodge-like appearance and will simulate the outdoors with many obstacles (including boulders) giving bow hunters a great opportunity for practice. There will be 20 different targets and the building will be wheelchair-accessible as well.
Marc, Joey and Michael are all passionate bow hunters and are living a dream by bringing this shop to life. Further plans include leagues for all ages and, if possible, maybe a bit of friendly competition with other ranges in the area. They also want to have a Big Buck contest with weigh-ins and scoring during the season, I wish them all the best and, after speaking with Marc, I know they have the right attitude and know-how to make it work.
The name of the range is Archers Addiction (everything archery and more.) It is located at 14 Abes Way in Poughkeepsie...just off Route 9 near Poughkeepsie Ford, about a half mile south of Casperkill Country Club.
